Reference 116610LN was launched in 2010 together with its green bezel counterpart 116610LV as the successor of the celebrated Submariner Date reference 16610. The most apparent difference between the two models is the ceramic insert in the bezel, as opposed to the simple metal insert of its predecessor. The hands and indices appear to be uniform and are matching. The ceramic bezel is in very good condition with very little signs of wear except for one small mark at the “11 minute” marker. The case is in overall worn condition with signs of wear present most notably on the sides of the case. There are scuffs and scratches along the sides of the case most notably on the “7-11” side of the case. There is impact damage at the 9 o clock portion of the case as well as impact damage at the edges of the bottom lugs. The bracelet is in overall worn condition with signs of wear and scuffs consistent with the case. The clasp is in overall worn condition with signs of wear and scuffs consistent with the condition of the bracelet. The clasp is stamped “Rolex”, “Geneva”, “Swiss Made”, “Steelinox”, “673”, “Rolex Sa”, and “673”. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
