In full: “Often think of you / touring hard—/ regards to Axel.” Cohen played in Manchester several times throughout the 1970s, including on 21 March 1972 and 12 September 1974. His 1974 tour for New Skin for the Old Ceremony was his third and longest European trek—he played thirty-three concerts in 50 days—after which he began his first North American tour.
