The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Faint creases associated with minor tears, mostly along the edges. Pinpoint foxing occasionally on the surface. A minor water stain to the lower right. A seal impression to the upper right corner. A faint horizontal fold mark across the centre of the sheet and faint diagonal fold marks to the upper right and lower left corners. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 197. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
