The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is some rubbing to the extreme edges and corners. There are some minor paint losses in places, predominantly in the centre area. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
