The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet has shifted in tone and slight discoloration is to the extreme edges. The right edge of the sheet is unevenly cut, likely in keeping with the artist's working method. Artist's pinholes are to the center upper edge and lower right edge. Creases, tears and tiny nicks are occasional to the corner-tips and edges. A faint spot of skinning is near the center left edge. A fine linear abrasion is just below right of center near a yellow colored passage and another one is just below, also near a yellow colored passage. Creases and handling indents are scattered to the sheet. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
