The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall very good condition commensurate with age and gentle use. The wood surfaces with very few light scratches and minor abrasions concentrated to the edges and legs. The proper left back leg with more prominent abrasions. Each side with historic restoration at the join of the arm and leg, well concealed. The circular wooden plug for the brass post along proper right arm slightly elevated; the arm with some movement. The brass with minor wear and light oxidation typical with aging of this material. The updated wool upholstery in excellent condition with very light soiling. An elegant form ready for display.
