The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with full margins, and a deckle edge at right.
- the colours fresh and bright.
- pale time-staining at the sheet edges and pale scattered foxing, recto and verso.
- a tiny pale brown spot in the lower margin and a tiny paper loss at the extreme lower left sheet edge.
- two small areas of unobtrusive stray printing ink, in the upper and lower margins.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
