The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. Minor wear is to the edges and corners, with a few tiny associated tears. Soft creases are infrequent, and a few faint linear abrasions are occasional, most notably to the upper left quadrant. A few matte spots are scattered near the edges, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
