The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the corners and center horizontal edges to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. Minor wear is occasionally to the edges and corners. Soft creases are occasional, most notably to the corner-tips and near the upper right corner. A tiny rub is near the left lower edge. Visible upon very close inspection and under raking light, very fine drying cracks are to the lower right quadrant in a dark blue painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
