The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly slack. Fine tension cracking, minor wear and associated pinpoint losses are to the corner tips and turning edges, and small losses are to both left corner tips. Faint frame abrasions and stray media from the gilded frame is intermittently to the extreme edges. Rubbing and a few fine drying cracks are occasionally to some impasto peaks. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
