The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with a 25 mm. margin above, 50-60 mm. margins elsewhere.
- with the usual, vertical central fold
- some soft creasing at the edges.
- mount staining in the margins, occasional surface dirt in the margins and verso.
- an irregular tear in the lower margin to the right (approx. 28 mm.), backed.
- some stray, faint red pigment on a cloud at upper centre to the right.
- small remains of old hinges at the upper corners verso.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition. Mounted and framed.
