A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the painting. Tension cracking is to the extreme edges, and a faint dark line runs parallel to the right edge and is likely related to the artist's process. A few faint handling marks are scattered around the perimeter. Isolated areas of cracking are scattered to the left of the purple nail and above the blue nail, and a small spot of radial cracking is above the right brown nail. A few pinpoint brown spots are scattered and a faint rub is towards the bottom of the right group of nails. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
