The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A light layer of surface dust is present. Minor wear, small losses, spots of lifting, and creases are intermittently to the edges, and at the center of each print where the pages join the spine. Undulation of the photographs, traces of adhesive residue, and hairline scratches to the original negative are in keeping with the artist's working method. Slight undulation is to the left edge of the front cover where the spine is bound. Minute accretions, faint spots of discoloration, and short hairline scuffs are infrequent. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
