This adidas TRIONDA ball was used during the 2026 FIFA World Cup on June 12, 2026, with host nation Canada drawing with Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-1 in Toronto at the Toronto Stadium.
Called the TRIONDA, meaning three (Tri) waves (Onda), the ball’s red, green and blue design pays homage to the three host countries and incorporates iconography significant to each.
This ball utilized Connected Ball Technology to track the movement of the ball in play to send data to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system in real time. The data collected from this ball confirms nearly 14 minutes of usage time, encompassing 238 touches including the shot on goal by Benjamin Tahirović for Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 43:33 minute mark. The game ended in a draw.
