The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged periodically at the upper edge to the backing board. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. The horizontal edges are deckled. A few losses to the support are to the edges and corners. Two minute repaired tears are to the lower left edge, and another one is to the left lower edge. Soft handling creases are infrequently to the lower register. Pinpoint spots of foxing are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
