Hinged to the mount along the upper margin on the verso with two strips of glued paper. The verso remains visible. The paper is slightly yellowed with irregular traces along the edges. Some minor foxing are visible on the background. Some tiny losses of paper are visible along the left and lower margins. The medium remains well preserved. In a gilt wood frame inscribed on verso: 'Theordore Rousseau dessin originale / acheté de la vente TH. R.'
