The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at left.
- the sheet with pale time-staining, predominantly near the sheet edges.
- a flattened crease at the lower sheet edge, at left.
- a pale, pinpoint foxspot in the lower right margin.
- a few pinpoint holes at the extreme left and right of the composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
