The sheet is loose and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are uneven. There is some minor rubbing with associated pinpoint paint losses to the purple passage in the lower left quadrant. There are minor paint losses in places predominantly to the black passages. There are scattered minor accretions, the most visible being near the centre of the upper horizontal edge. There are minor water marks in places to the medium and a faint water stain near the lower left corner, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
