The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gelatin silver print. The work is structurally sound. There are a few minor spots of bumping and faint impressions to the extreme edges, not visible when framed. There are a few very faint hairline abrasions in places to the darker passages, only visible under strong raking light. There is one pinpoint abrasion to the upper right vertical edge. There are a few very small hairline abrasions in places to the frame, only visible under strong raking light. There is some minor gapping to the upper right mitre. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition. Please note that this work is sold framed.
