the complete artist's book comprising one multiple in blue on the front cover, ten pochoirs in colors, three reproductions in colors and folded poster in colors of Pêchage mounted on the back board, on wove paper, with the title page and original velvet boards
Overall: 91⁄2 x 63⁄4 x 1 in. (241 x 172 x 25 mm.)
Executed in 1973. Published by Galerie Alexandre Iolas, Paris as an exhbition catalogue for the exhibition Man Ray in 1973-1974.

"You see, when I painted a local bread blue, the idea of ​ a title came to me almost immediately and almost automatically: in French "pain painted", painted bread, because it sounds also like the kids running down the street after a fire engine and imitating the sound of the sirens: 'bread–bread–bread–bread–bread–bread', you know."
