拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There are some soft handling marks and other small defects to the lead frame. There is a pattern of circular imprints, predominantly visible in the upper left corner and the centre left area, presumably due to packing material. There is some minor wear and rubbing to the extreme edges and corners. There are few minor paint losses in the upper left corner and to the centre left horizontal edge. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
