拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

A layer of surface dust and soiling is present. A few tiny nicks and fine abrasions are to the artist's frame. The image has shifted in tone, most notably near the extreme edges. Pinpoint embedded accretions are intermittently to the image, and a more notable linear one is below the center upper edge. Visible under close inspection and raking light, faint surface scuffs are infrequent, and a diagonal transfer mark is to the upper right quadrant. Only visible under ultraviolet light, an area to the center upper edge of the artist's frame fluoresces distinctly but does not appear to be inpainting. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
