The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The side edges of the canvas are covered with tape. A light layer of surface dust and soiling is present. Wear and spots of rubbing are to the edges, with a few tiny associated losses. Fine cracks are occasional, most notably to the lower left quadrant in a beige painted passage. Tiny embedded accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
