The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Watercolour, ink and pencil on board mounted on board. The reverse of the board is attached to the mount at the four corners. The boards very slightly curved and detached towards the corners. A small unevenness to the upper board at the lower right corner. Some very pale light-staining with a very few associated spots of foxing in places (mainly visible in the sky). Medium is strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Aquarelle, encre et graphite sur carton monté sur carton. Le revers su carton est attaché à un support aux quatre coins. Les cartons sont très légèrement incurvés et détachés vers les coins. Une petite irrégularité au coin inférieur droit du carton supérieur. Très légère insolation associée à de très rares piqûres par endroits (principalement dans le ciel). Le médium est vif et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
