The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The gold overall with some minor wear and a few small areas of tarnish, the gems irregular in shape with some cracks and chips, three lacking, the pearls possibly later replacements, the figure's right arm bent in from a previous impact, also with some bruises to the head, both areas with some small splits and possibly some restoration, a few other tiny splits throughout, possibly missing a sword, the head and legs with some excess solder and visible seams where they connect to the torso, possibly re-attached, some minor losses to the filigree, with restoration to the underside, possibly where a securing rod for attaching to an altar would have been, the wood plinth with some minor wear and tiny scratches, figure is not well balanced and cannot stand up without wood plinth.
