The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right.
- the colours fresh and bright.
- the sheet with scattered foxing recto and verso.
- pale time-staining, predominantly at the sheet edges.
- a flattened diagonal crease (30 mm.) in the upper right corner, mainly visible in a raking light.
- a pinpoint hole at the extreme upper composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
Otherwise as described.
