The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right.
- the sheet folded (as issued), with the etching recto
- the sheet with pale time-staining.
- the red slightly attenuated.
- occasional pale foxing, predominantly near the sheet edges.
- the lower left corner with minor creasing, mainly visible in a raking light.
- a pinpoint hole at the extreme upper composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
