The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Small evidence of repair. With later screw back fittings.
- Metal unsigned. Later screw back fittings marked 9ct.
- Natural pearls: of silver to cream body colour, with rose and green overtones, drop-shaped, overall very good lustre, part-drilled, a few small blemishes, one pearl with some slightly more noticeable blemishes to the reverse.
- Diamonds: principal old circular-cut diamonds measure approximately 6.55 x 6.60 mm x unable to access depth, and 6.60 x 6.65 mm x unable to access depth, calculated to weigh approximately 0.90 - 1.00 carat each. Total diamond weight approximately 6.00 - 7.00 carats, assessed to be on average H to J colour, VS to SI clarity.
