The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work is sold framed.
Pen and India ink and gouache on laid paper. Hinged at the four corners on the reverse to a protective sleeve. Slight undulation of the sheet due to the rich application of media. Minute nick at centre lower edge. Very faintly light stained. The colors are fresh and the ink is strong. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Plume et encre de Chine et gouache sur papier vergé. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières à un support protecteur. Légère ondulation de la feuille due à une application riche du médium. Une minuscule encoche au centre du bord inférieur. Très légère insolation de la feuille. Les couleurs sont fraîches et l'encre est vive. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
