Le tableau est peint sur une toile ayant fait l'objet d'un rentoilage fort qui a pu applatir la matière par endroits. La tension de la toile est forte.

A l'oeil nu, on constate quelques retouches dans les carnations, les bruns du costume, la chevelure et ponctuellement dans les fonds, tout particulièrement le long du bord droit.

A l'UV, on constate les retouches susmentionnées dans les carnatations, la chevelure et les fonds. Sous un vernis fin uniforme.

Dans un cadre en bois et stuc dorés (approx. 66 x 56 cm.).

The canvas has been subject to a strict reline; it is held under tension and remains stable.

In natural light some retouching can be seen to the flesh tones, the browns of the costume, the hair and in the background, notably along the right-hand edge.

Examination under UV light confirms the above observations. The varnish is even. The paint remains stable.

In a giltwood and gilt stucco frame (approx. 66 x 56 cm.).
