Charcoal on paper. Not examined out of the frame. The sheet is float mounted, and appears to be adhered at various places along the reverse sheet edge to a supporting board. An artist's pinhole to the upper left corner. Some creases to each corner, and a soft crease along the lower right edge. A small tear to the centre of the left edge measuring approx 0.5 cm., and some skinning to this area; this appears to be signs of restoration. Some spots of mild staining and some light surface dirt predominantly to the edges of the sheet. The charcoal is strong throughout. Subject to the above it is our opinion that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
