The work is in overall good and stable condition. Some stable surface cracking is exhibited throughout the work with areas of tenting and mild hairline losses. Stable hairline craquelure is noted on the figure's robe. Stretcher bar marks are noted along the edges of the work. Ultraviolet light examination reveals some scattered areas of inpainting. No tears, repairs or other apparent condition issues are noted. The canvas is unlined.
