The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board, and the right and lower edges are deckled. An artist's pinhole is near the center upper edge, and two tiny nicks are near the left upper edge. Soft creases are occasional. Handling marks and spots of stray media are intermittent most notably to the margins and presumably studio-related. A few spots of staining are to the margin, most notably to the upper left edge, presumably studio-related. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
