Not examined out of frame. The work appears to be hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places, most notably to the upper right quadrant and centre lower horizontal edge. There are three minute hairline cracks to the upper right corner. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
