- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Some small areas of tarnish and some evidence of solder. Clip fittings with good tension.
- Additional marks: signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, French assay marks for 18 carat gold, 750, maker's marks 'R Pierrot E' for Robert Ehret.
- Rubies: total weight approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some small scratches and nicks to facets throughout.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 6.50 - 7.50 carats, assessed to be on average H to I colour, VS to SI clarity.
