This watercolor and pencil on paper is in good condition overall. The paper does not present tears or paper losses. The paper is hinged in two places with linen hinges on the verso top edge. Exposure to humidity over time has caused mild planar distortions throughout. Visually, the paper is mildly oxidized from contact with acidic material and a natural process of aging due to light exposure. There is a moderate double mat stain from two different acidic mat openings overtime; mostly visible at the top left and right quadrants. Although some fading is to be expected for a work of art of this age, the media is well preserved.
