The paper is attached to its support in three places on the reverse at the upper edge. The paper retains an uneven upper edge from the artist's spiral bound sketchbook. The lower left corner bears the inscription '#88' in pencil. There appear to be small crease marks at all corners. Overall the paper appears slightly toned with minor specks of surface soiling. The paper is slightly buckled and there is minor wear to the extreme edges. There does not appear to be evidence of tears, repairs, or losses.
