The sheet is hinged along the upper edge to the backing board. The edges are deckled. Artist's pinholes are intermittently to the sheet. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone, most notably along the edges. Faint wear and a few passages of disturbed fibers are in places. A minute partial tear is near the lower right corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
