The sheet is hinged on all sides to the backing board and undulates slightly. Only visible under very close inspection, a tiny passage of pinpoint spots of flaking paint with associated loss are along the right slope of the lower form, presumably in keeping with the artist's choice of medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
