The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. La surface est très légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Quelques légères traces de frottement, très fines griffures et petits points d’accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques très fines craquelures sont visibles le long des bords. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, cette œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. Some minor rubbing, very fine scratches and small pinpoint accretions are visible in places to the surface. A few very fine cracks are visible along the edges. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
