The work is structurally sound. The brown paper is laid down by the artist to the underlying Masonite. There is severe signs of wear and tear in places towards the extreme edges, predominantly towards the left horizontal edge. There are surface irregularities in places, coherent with the artist's working process. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
