Rare 'Calling Cards' Writing Table, circa 1950

Overall good condition with scattered losses and abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. With three missing brass sabots and one loose brass sabot, not visually distracting. Scattered areas with losses of lithographic transfer, concentrated to sensitive areas of the edges, feet and drawer pulls (largest area of loss is 1¹⁄₄ inches). Sold with a glass cover not original to the desk. Presents well, ready for use and display.
