The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. Visible under close inspection, a loss is to the upper right corner-tip. Faint drying cracks are occasional, most notably to the darker painted passages. A drip accretion is to the lower left corner in brown painted passage. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a fine linear scratch, with associated pinpoint loss, is to the upper left quadrant in a light blue painted passage. Visible under close inspection, a few fine abrasions and pinpoint accretions are occasional. Faint areas of efflorescence are visible to black painted passages. Visible under ultraviolet light, an area of possible inpainting is near the upper edge at center.
