The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Tape is affixed loosely to the side edges of the canvas. Minor wear, rubbing, pinpoint losses, and fine hairline cracks are to the corner-tips and turning edges. A faint stretcher bar impression with associated hairline cracking is to the lower edge. Areas of adhesive residue are along the right edge. Pinpoint drip accretions, tiny spots of rubbing, a few linear abrasions and fine hairline cracks are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
