The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Bronze with golden brown patina. Some very pale surface dirt and a few light and unobtrusive passages of oxidation mainly in the recesses. The usual wears and tears and small surface scratches due to age and handling. Examined under ultraviolet light: a few potential lines of retouching to the patina at the back of the sitter’s head. Subject to the foregoing it is our view that the work is in very good condition.

Bronze à patine brun doré. Très légère salissure de surface et de rares légers et discrets passages d’oxydation, principalement dans les creux. Les usures habituelles et de petites éraflures de surface dues à l’âge et à la manipulation. Examiné à la lampe à ultraviolets : de rares potentielles lignes de retouche de la patine au dos de la tête du modèle. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
