The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is running at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
Dial: The dial shows some light debris and signs of aging. Dial with some very faint surface marks. Raised enamel signature remains attractive with accent above the E. The hands show faint scratches.
Case: The case has light scratches and nicks. The crystal has light scratches. The hallmarks are crisp and well-defined.
Buckle: The later Tang buckle has light scratches and wear. The hallmarks are crisp and well defined.
Overall Condition: Very good

Please note that Christie’s has applied for an “Extract from the Archives” from Patek Philippe, but the extract has not yet been issued and may not be available by the date of the auction. The lot is sold “as is” without any extract and Christie’s does not guarantee that Patek Philippe will issue the extract.
