The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau est peint sur un panneau de chêne courbé de manière convexe. Il est contrecollé au revers avec un papier masquant le bois sur preque toute la surface.
On devine néanmoins deux départs de fentes horizontales à 11 et 14 cm du bord supérieur.
A l'oeil nu, on constate des fentes horizontales à l'endroit de la courbure du panneau. On constate des retouches dans les fonds ainsi que dans la table.
Les cerises et gouttelettes ont néanmoins préservé de jolis glacis et l'ensemble demeure vibrant.
A l'UV, on constate des retouches récentes le long des fentes ainsi que des retouches ponctuelles dans la table et les fruits. Retouches plus débordantes dans le coin inférieur gauche.
Des restaurations plus anciennes peuvent se dissimuler sous le vernis.

The painting is executed on an oak panel that is convexly curved. The reverse is almost entirely covered with paper, glued to the surface. Two horizontal cracks can be discerned, located approximately 11 and 14 cm from the upper edge.
To the front of the painting, in natural light, two horizontal cracks can be seen where the panel curves. Retouching is visible in the background areas as well as on the table. The cherries and droplets, however, have retained beautiful glazes, and the overall effect remains vibrant.
Under UV light, recent retouching can be seen along the cracks, as well as some scattered retouching in the table and the fruit. Broader retouching is visible in the lower left corner. Older restorations may be concealed beneath the varnish layer.
