The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. A light layer of surface dust is present. Minor wear and tiny losses are occasionally to the extreme edges and corner-tips of the painted wooden elements. A minute loss is to the triangular element at the back of the box. Minute glossy accretions are occasional. Soft scuffs and faint handling marks are occasional, some presumably studio-related. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
