The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- with 7-10 mm. margins on all sides.
- some small brown stains on and around the face and legs of the right Pantalon, mainly visible on his knees and verso.
- a slightly irregular, vertical tear at the left margin and sheet edge at centre (circa 10 mm.), with two associated pinholes, thinly backed.
- a circa 10 mm. diagonal crease in lower right margin, a few other minor creases in the lower sheet corners.
- a couple of horizontal, central soft creases, mainly visible in raking light and verso.
- a thin spot in the lower right corner.
- some minor and unobtrusive staining and foxing in places.
- remains of old hinges at the sheet edges verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
