The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and undulates slightly. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. An artist's pinhole is near the upper center edge and soft creases are occasionally to the corner-tips. A pinpoint indentation is to the lower left quadrant. Pinpoint spots of foxing are scattered throughout. Visible under ultraviolet light, time staining is to the edges. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
